My Story

Through all methods of yoga practices, I offer a unique, therapeutic and holistic approach. I believe in guiding my clients to remember their true nature and whole state of being. After many years on my own journey towards health, with compassion and knowledge of the body, I strive to enable a deeper physical, emotional and spiritual awareness. Yoga is a way of life and I feel the lessons we learn, both on and off the mat, are weaved into our days and years.

I was first introduced to yoga by my mom when I was 14 years old. It was love at first practice!  I soon jumped at the chance to take Yoga instead of PE in high school.  What an amazing opportunity.  And as they say, the rest was history!  I decided to embark on my first teacher training course in 1989.  I studied with a wonderful teacher and mentor named JoAnn Evans at the oldest yoga center in South Florida called The Yoga Center of Deerfield Beach.  Throughout getting married, raising three children, and all life’s ups and downs, the one constant in my life was yoga.

Shortly after moving to Denver with my husband, our kids flew the nest. As I was pondering what my next chapter might be, yoga therapy popped on to my radar as if it were destiny.  Following my passion, as a certified yoga therapist, I now work with clients dealing with, but not limited to, chronic pain, anxiety, trauma and depression as well as Ayurvedic life style techniques.

When not on the mat, I love to travel to new places and explore nature, hiking, the beach and mountains.  I am an avid reader and art lover.  Spending time with my family and friends and making connections are top on my list.  My husband and I reside in the Denver area with our snuggly rescue dog named Bodhi.
